What a great idea. I have headed over to the boards and signed up. I have 15kg to lose to reach my "goal" weight. Hopefully having people reading my scales every week will give me the motivation to clean up my diet and putting some more effort into my exercise.

I always thought the same thing about gyms.It is so true - the designer gym gear too .I went to one for a while -when my son did swimming lessons I used the treadmill.

Good luck Kay - all power to you .. any weight loss is beneficial and even for the fitness aspect. Be happy with who you are but also strive to achieve the goals that matter. Pity you can't walk cats.

I heard that 'Curves' was geared to women who really wanted the exercise and without men in the picture.

My exercise bike is still waiting for me - I have a lard a r s e and serious chocolate, icecream and hot chips oh hang it - everything addiciton.

Good on ya Kay! And Good luck my sister in lard LMAO :P!

I am actually re joining the gym next week once I get Katie off to big school ( I had planned on it anyway before the challenge) The last time I joined for 12mths I put on 10kgs...so it's not looking promising.

Funny thing is, I have a treadmill and a home gym about 3m from my bed, I have to walk past it everyday, yet I can't motivate myself to use it.
